tokyo photos by category

As some of you know,
my 2 favorite things to photograph are:
people (babies) and manhole covers, in that order.

While I have an abundance of those,
I am also including photos of food, culture, "interesting styles", things in motion
a few cityscapes and animals
and a very select bunch, that I've deemed my favorite/lucky shots.

My selections have been narrowed down from 736 photos,
so bare with me...

Asia:

she handed out brochures for a restaurant
where the "maid girls" would put a "magic spell" on your food to make it taste "extra delicious"
... a cultural experience I regretfully passed up.
(I have no idea why he looks so skeptical, they obviously do LEGIT magic... not the FAKE kind.)

Bicycle Parking Garage!

the train and subway systems are extensive and confusing to the untrained eye.
Thankfully, we figured out how to navigate without too much hassle.
