I think we can all agree, being Happy is pretty stinkin' great!
This first video is a simple experiment to find out what makes people happy...
Spoiler: Gratitude.
I promise, when you're done watching
you'll have a belly full of warm fuzzies.
If you're not a fan of warm fuzzies, you're probably in desperate need of this second video.
This is a "TED talk" by a very charismatic man who studies the science of happiness.
In it, he states 5 daily steps to make your life more positive and productive.
(PS. I'm thankful to admit, I'm not personally struggling to be happy,
but I think it's super important to constantly aim for self-improvement.)
I'm honestly really REALLY terrible with commitments,
but a friend of mine has inspired me to take the challenge!
Perhaps you'll feel inclined to join me in this experiment for the next 21+ days...
5 Daily Steps:
1. meditate
2. write down a positive experience
3. recognize 3 new things you are thankful for
4. exercise
5. random act of kindness
Note: there is no right or wrong way to do these steps...
(for example, exercise one day might look a lot different than another day)
but the point is: don't give up... do all 5 things every day.
I'll occasionally share how these steps effect me throughout the next 21+ days
and at the end, I'm excited to see how my life has changed.
Bring on the HAPPY!
